Just what is warhammer 40k?

 If ur reading this, this means that ur wondering what warhammer is and ur trying to figure out wtf im talking about, that or u come here everyday and u finally see something new. so warahmmer takes place in the 4oth millenium in the future. Earth is now called Holy Terra.(otherwise kown as Holy Earth) Earth is ruled by someone named the Emperor of Mankind and he is the most powerful man or alien in the universe. mankind struggles and fight for the emperor to spread humanity. there are 11 races that are fighting againest eachother to survive.

these are the 11 races and what group they are in

Space Marine (Imperium) Imperial Guard (Imperium)

Witch hunters (Imperium)

Daemon Hunter (Imperium)

Chaos Space Marine (formerly Imperium, now Traitors)

Eldar (Xeno)

Tyranids (Xeno)

Dark Eldar (formerly Xeno but classified traitors for the Eldar.)

Tau Empire (Xeno)

Orks (Xeno)

Necrons (Xeno)

F.Y.I Xeno means alien but xeno sounds much cooler
now for some quick summaries

Space Marines: super human with extra organs. chemcicals within them make them immortal but can be killed in war not by age.

Imperial Guard: Normal people like u and me.

Witch hunters: normal women and girls like space marine, cannot live forever and does not have any extra organs or any special powers only strong weapons.

Daemon hunters: space marines that past the 666 test are allowed in this secretive army. focusing energy the can effectilvy kill daemons and send them back into the warp. its 666 becuz the numer 666 realtes to the anti-christ known as the devil.

Chaos Space Marines: similar to the space marines but only infused with the dark powers making them deadly in combat.

Eldar: a race about to be extinct beacuase of the war againest the necrons, swift and agile they kill their enemy

Tyranids: they are almost like the Zerg. almost every creature in the tyranid swarm are differant in a way. because their DNAs are all differant and differant kindsa have differant powers the famous breed of the tyranid is the carnifex

Dark Eldar: counter part of their original race. they can live forever as long as they have souls to sacrifice.

Tau Empire: techological race that focus only on massive firepower.

Ork: the most barbaric race in the galaxy, living only to fight their techology is unkown.

Necron: living metal organism that ever die by soul. the most feared race in the galaxy arch enemies to the Eldar.
